THIS JAR HAS A CUT GLASS BODY WITH A STERLING LID THAT HAS AN APPLIED FIGURAL ENAMELED SCENE WITH A PIPE, LIT SMOKING CIGAR, MATCHES AND A MATCH STRIKER. I KNOW THIS PIECE IS DURGIN BECAUSE ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO I HAD ANOTHER ONE EXACTLY LIKE IT WITH A DIFFERENT ENAMELED SMOKING SCENE PLAQUE. Up for sale is a very rare antique 1914 Bayuk Bros. Cigar store counter top display case. It’s made of glass brass and tole metal and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The front glass door operates by pushing the brass lever on the left side which then opens on a hinge. There is a lockable door in the back as well that allows you to insert the art for the cigars being held in the display. It’s signed/dated on the back and measures 9 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches wide by 7 inches back to front. It has normal ware, there is a hairline crack on a side panel as shown in last photo. Up for sale is a nice quality antique 19th century handmade tobacco humidor box. It is made by hand and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The box is has an insignia plate on the top and is lined with a milk glass. It also has the humidor attachment for keeping the contents fresh. It’s in nice antique condition and measures 12 1/2 inches long 8 3/4 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches tall. It is missing the key.
