This Piece was Beautifully Made & with a Beautifully Inlaid Satinwood Cartouche Motif at the Top Lined with Herringbone Inlays at Each Side with Various Exotic Wood Inlays in Beautiful Form. The Piece Itself dates back to the 1800s.. It has a Matching Escutcheon Diamond Shaped Keyhole with Lock (No Key). The Inside is Lined with a Satin Fabric as shown in the Pictures. Its Finished on All of its Sides with Matching Inlays so it can be placed Anywhere in a Room and can be used for Multiple Purposes. Color Exotic Wood Inlays & was Designed in Very Fine Meticulous Details. It was made of the Highest Quality & The Finest Craftsmanship no longer made Today. TOP QUALITY ANTIQUE COROMANDEL WOOD DRESSING CASE VANITY CASE & JEWELLERY BOX by PARKINS & GOTTO of LONDON 11 3/4 inches (300mm) wide, by 8 1/2 inches (220mm) deep, by 5 inches (130mm) tall Coromandel wood throughout. Lid has “stand up” hinges (see photos), & mirror inside. Mirror has storage behind. Velvet lined, lift out tray, fitted with lidded compartments, (see photos). Good, antique condition with very light wear in keeping with its great age, but no damage. The hinges work as they should, and the lid opens and closes without issue. The box measures approx 6 3/4 inches (175mm) wide, by 7 inches (180mm) deep, by 4 1/2 inches (115mm) tall, and is made from Coromandel wood with delicate brass inlay, and inset brass handles at either side. The hinged lid has “stand up” hinges (see photos), and the interior is lined with mahogany. This beautiful antique cigar box. Is in good, antique condition with light wear and small restorations in keeping with its great age, but no damage. The hinges work as they should, and the lid is a good fit, and opens and closes without issue. Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Vintage Wood Humidor Travel Storage Case Inlaid Decorative Box Cigar Storage. DESCRIPTION Original wooden cigar humidor box. Empty humidor box made from a flame mahogany veneer. Inlays and lacquer on the outside complete with original working digital hygrometer and two moisture pads. The inside is lined with cedar to retain the moisture levels and there is a pull out tray to reveal a secondary layer underneath. The top side of the box is decorated with a banded border. A great addition to any smoking room, man cave or bar area. This would make a great early holiday gift. MEASUREMENTS Wooden humidor measures 9.5″ wide by 13.5″ long by 6 deep weighs 7lb 4oz. CONDITION In good condition and ready to use with wear commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). Very good condition with minor nicks and bumps across the surface, commensurate with age. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering.
