A very good looking well-made and functional piece, the Owl’s are some of the most collectable pieces of black forest carved wood. Offered here is a beautiful cigar box humidor that is part of Tiffany Studios modeled pattern. The box is marked Tiffany Stvdios New York 1114 on the bottom. The gold dore finish looks great. The true color is closest to the gold dore top. You are not going to find a better one. The cedar box with the dovetail joints is in excellent condition. An awesome antique wood lined bronze humidor box made by Silver Crest, early-to-mid twentieth century. Simple rectangular design with Art Deco style sterling silver decoration to box lid. 1.5″h x 6.25″l x 3.75w. In fair antique condition, with just general surface wear commensurate with age, such as the lovely green patina and oxidation to bronze, tarnish to the sterling, a slight bend to one corner of the box lid, and light surface scratches all over – see pictures. Underside is stamped with “Sterling Decorated Bronze, Silver Crest” hallmark, “Real Bronze, ” L 506. Beautiful early 1900s repurposed and refinished cigar humidor. Made of solid mahogany. Measures 10 3/4″ long x 7 1/4″ deep x 4 1/4 tall. Inside is 9 3/4″ long x 6 1/4″ deep x 3 3/4 tall. Sides are 1/2 solid mahogany assembled using the splined miter joint for strength and esthetics. 90º hinges keep lid open during use. Lock, escutcheon and monogram plate are solid brass. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Bottom is fully lined with a hunter green felt and inside of the lid uses the same material. Lock works, but no key. Lid has a slight twist from age. Beautifully refinished solid walnut cigar humidor. Measures 12″ long x 8″ deep x 4 1/4 tall. Inside is 11″ long x 7″ deep x 3 1/2 tall. Sides are 1/2 thick and assembled using the splined miter joint. 90º hinges in good working order. Exterior refinished with MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. The entire inside is lined with milk glass. All joints are solid.
