Beautiful early 1900s repurposed and refinished cigar humidor. Made of solid mahogany. Measures 10 3/4″ long x 7 1/4″ deep x 4 1/4 tall. Inside is 9 3/4″ long x 6 1/4″ deep x 3 3/4 tall. Sides are 1/2 solid mahogany assembled using the splined miter joint for strength and esthetics. 90º hinges keep lid open during use. Lock, escutcheon and monogram plate are solid brass. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Bottom is fully lined with a hunter green felt and inside of the lid uses the same material. Lock works, but no key. Lid has a slight twist from age.
