I have an antique tiger wood cigar box. The inside is line with one divider. All the silver tone pieces are there. The bottom is marked and I’d say this is from the late 1800’s? There is a little button knob foot missing on the bottom. Other than that this is a beautiful piece. Measures 9.5″ x6″ x 4. Please ask any questions you may have.

This box represents the height of corporate luxury from the early 20th century, likely used in executive offices or elite passenger parlor cars. Construction: The box features high-quality hardwood construction with elegant mitered joinery. The lid is inset with a contrasting wood panel that serves as the canvas for its original historical graphics. Graphics & Markings: Center: Hand-lettered style inscription: Specially selected for Pennsylvania Central Co. The “V” Shield: A striking graphic on the left featuring a gold “V” draped in a patriotic American flag ribbon, a mark of premium quality. I refurbished an old vintage humidor- the kind with the milk glass interior and cedar trim- probably around 1930’s. (see last two pics) I completely stripped the old finish and added a natural sealing stain and oil/wax finish. I removed and the glass and replaced with nice smelling cedar. I created a much more aggressive seal between the cedar and lid. I installed new humidification device and hygrometer. (Includes key, so you could also keep your stash secure) So this beautiful old humidor is now ready to keep your cigars in perfect condition with cedar and today’s technology.

Please take a moment to read the description, condition and browse the photos. A very well crafted 19thC. With chased design in florals and figures in tavern scenes throughout. The lid opens as it should to reveal the wood lined base interior. The base is marked with hallmarks “EGW&S” to bottom. It sit’s upon four fancy pad feet. Measures; 6 1/4″ long x 4 1/2″ deep x 3 1/2 tall. There is some wear to silverplate mostly to high points on figures, I see no other wear. Box polished right up, overall very good condition, no dings or unsightly marks etc. Please view all photographs as they are part of the description. This is a very old humidor that has never been used before. Wood has been restored and refinished. As you can tell by the perfect condition, the tin interior has never been used prior. The humidification device, while old, will work just fine once you add distilled water. I added a hydrometer to complete the set. You can find other tin lined humidors online, but none in the condition that this one is in. 11″ x 7″ x 4.5.
