The elongated rectangular form measures. 13″ long. 4″ deep. 2.75 high Crafted from solid oak with beautiful linear grain throughout, this humidor has a strong Arts & Crafts presence with clear Art Nouveau styling in the hardware. The lid is decorated with sculptural brass serpents in relief – a dramatic and uncommon design element. The front features an elaborate, organic-form brass escutcheon surrounding the keyhole. The interior is fully oak-lined, retaining its original natural wood surface. No modern lining has been added. The underside of the lid shows age wear and adhesive residue from what may have once been a lining or humidification element. Condition: Displays honest antique wear including surface marks, light scratches, and age patina to the brass hardware. Locking mechanism present; key included. Structurally solid with tight joints. Antique 19th Century Brass Engraved, Lined, Humidor/Pipe/Tobacco/Cigar Box -RARE FIND. This antique humidor, tobacco related or other storage box is a fine work of craftsmanship and is a very rare find. The age is based on research which information is very limited. Brass/Copper covered box, reinforced riveted corners with engravings on four areas. There is a latch on the front that would accept a padlock. The top cover with beveled edges, has an engraving of a man smoking a very long pipe. The front side has an engraved scene also related to pipes and tobacco. The side ends have the same engraved scene of books, literature and a pipe. The inside is lined with silver tin or other base metal. The bottom is wood, as other parts may be wood as well beneath the brass covering. Measures 10-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ x 3-1/2 Tall Weight: 3lbs, 5 oz. The box is in very good condition, has an aged patina which could probably be polished to really shine if desired. The inside cover has some traces of red paint. See all photos for more details.

The product is an antique 1908 Oak wood cigar humidor chest box made in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It features a porcelain lining, adding a touch of elegance to this vintage piece. This collectible tobacciana item is a rare find for cigar enthusiasts and collectors alike, showcasing the craftsmanship and quality of American-made humidors from the early 20th century. 1920s; Sargent Cigar Co. The original incarnation chest was patented on Dec. 22nd 1908, though this particular chest likely originated a few years later. This listing is for a beautifully crafted vintage burl wood humidor featuring a glossy lacquered exterior, a rich burl grain pattern, and premium hardware. Beautiful 1800s Antique C. Swift Mahogany Humidor with Brass corners & Handles, Beveled glass top with Zinc lining. Patented July 28 1882 N. Swift humidor was produced by C. These humidors, often crafted from materials like tiger oak and tin-lined for freshness, were used to store cigars, tobacco, and other small items. The inclusion of the original key further enhances it’s value. As an antique, it combines historical value with fine craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal, making it a desirable item for collectors of antique Cigar Humidors and other tobacciana. Beautiful reddish Brown solid Mahogany wood is absolutely stunning, with Zero Dings, cracks or damage, remarkably outstanding condition considering it’s age. Clear Beveled glass top is in excellent condition with Zero Chips, Cracks or Missing pieces. The Zinc liner helps keep the Humidity at a desired level. Brass (Gold) tone Hardware on each corner &. Handles on each side. New Black Felt bottom has been applied. The Key fits the lock, however the mechanism doesn’t seem to be working. The lid fits very well when closed, with Zero seal gaps.
