Upmann cigars have a rich history in Cuba (founded in 1843), the brand’s production expanded to the Dominican Republic after the Cuban Revolution and the subsequent U. Upmann cigars are produced in both Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Upmann 2000 boxes specifically were made in the Dominican Republic. There are some chips in the lacquer mostly on the back upper corners – see photos. There are stains in the interior of the box. The felt pad on the bottom is a little worn on the edges.
