Antique Victorian Silver Plate Humidor Cigar box Cherub Putti Figural Rogers Smith Meriden. A VERY NICE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE FIGURAL BOX WITH 4 HINGED COMPARTMENTS. Measures approximately 9-1/2″ tall x 11.5″ long x 8″ deep with the compartments being about 3″ inches deep. Victorian Era Cigar Box. “Rogers Smith Meriden CT Quadruple 2X USA”. This lovely box has at the top, two cherubs holding hands while facing away from each other. Doves and garland decorate the sides of the box. There are 4 hinged lids, the 2 large sides have a lock (no key). This is a heavy piece, it measures 11.5? Wide x 9″ tall with the compartments about 3″ inches deep. This is a beautiful piece. Please consider the photos as part of the description. One of the round feet has no tarnish and looks like a well done repair. Some others of these have the cherubs holding a candlestick holder, but I see no evidence that anything like that was ever attached to this one. Otherwise, this humidor is in very good condition and rests well on all four feet as it should. The compartment lids are attached perfectly and close as they should. The screens between the sponge and cigar compartments are present and secure. The locks are present but I have no key. Victorian Era Cigar Box. “Rogers Smith Meriden CT Quadruple 2X USA”. This lovely box has 2 cherubs holding up a candle stick. Doves and garland decorate the sides of the box. And sits on 4 ball feet. There are 4 hinged lids, the 2 large sides have a lock (no key). This is a heavy piece, it measures 11.5″ long x 8″ deep x 10 tall. The metal looks like brass, but the scratches on the bottom of feet and a few areas look silver. This does have some tarnish and wear. But is still a beautiful piece for its age. Very Attractive Antique Rogers & Bro. Silver Plate Figural Dog Humidor. The box features a dog, possibly a pug, with glass eyes and a raised paw. It stands on spherical feet and has elaborate relief filigree with mythical faces along all sides. It has two compartments. One is hinged with a knob finial for cigar storage and the other, below the dog, is for storage of a damp sponge to keep tobacco moist. There is a vented wall between the two compartments and threaded fasteners securing the section of lid with the dog on it to the box. The bottom is marked Rogers & Bro. The silver is worn, but in otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6L, 5 1/4W, 6H. The item “Antique Rogers & Bro.
