Vtg Silver Crest Bronze Art Deco Golf Scene Cedar Lined Tobacco Cigar Humidor Desk Box. Has a couple of small greenish discolored spots but could be treated and cleaned I just wiped it down real good. Slight bow in the back by the hinge but doesn’t affect the the lid atvall. Is engraved with a name on the front plate. Beautiful Art Deco Golf Scene. Length 6.25 inches. Width 3.5 inches. Higth 1.5 inches. This silver box is an elegant, hallmarked vintage silver on copper cigar / cigarette humidor box with a cedar lining made by Friedrich Silver Co. Of Brooklyn, NY most likely in the 1930s. It features a unique design with a rearing lion / griffen engraved on the top of the lid and has four ball feet. The lid hangs over the box, making it easy to lift. Them box’s shows design adds to its value and aesthetic appeal an dit shows well. The hinges work well. This is a great collectable. The box weights 321 grams, so is of substantial weight. The Friedman Silver Co of Brooklyn, New York was established by Joseph Friedman in 1908, and in 1960 was acquired by Gorham. Exterior 5.25″ Long x 3.75″ Deep 1.25 Tall. Interior 5″ Long x 3″W Deep with a cedar wood liner.

A rare, antique Meriden silverplate Art Nouveau humidor with a nude lady on the lid. The box is just over 8.75 inches wide and is just over 2.5 inches tall. This is a very scarce model that is in excellent condition with only a few small touches of wear to some high points / high contact areas, and some light scratches.
