Offered here LG Antique (I believe English) Hand painted. Decorated with a bird a flowers and scenic painting on the lid Tole. And probably was lined with tin? .. Not sure about it. Co and patent on the bronze lock (no key). This is Extremely RARE to see and incredible craftsmanship item! Has two compartments inserted into lid, /. Then it has removable with Bronze handle and two compartments part. The box has very serious lock installed, and with the right key (ask Locksmith co) will make a very safe documents box… Or if tin removed and interior lined with velour could be jewelry box. Up for sale is a high quality antique 1908 wooden smoking pipe stand. It’s made by hand with elaborate detailing featuring hand tooled tole metal panels on the doors done in high relief. They have a lovely bronze handle and open on hinges exposing the interior. The lid has a sterling silver badge with hand engraved initials/dated and the lid locks the doors when it is shut. Inside has a section for 6 pipes and has three drawers with ornate gilt bronze handles. One of the drawers also has a carved bone inlaid name plate. It’s in great condition and measures 16 1/2 inches long by 12 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide.
