This wooden cigar humidor, Made in Italy, is designed to maintain a constant relative humidity to preserve cigar quality. Stunning walnut, lined with cedar. The wood covered hinges are phenominal and corner inlays add beautiful detail. 5 on the top that’s hard to see. Exterior is 9.5″x 9″x3.25. Hygrometer: The central gold-toned dial measures the moisture level (relative humidity) inside the box. Due to age and my lack of knowledge, I can not guarantee this is functioning properly, but believe it is. Humidifier: The black, circular plastic housing surrounding the dial contains a sponge that can be dampened to release moisture.

Gorgeous Elie Blue Tabletop Humidor 200 cigar capacity circa 1980’s/1990’s Finish: Walnut Burl with border and Lacquered High gloss topcoat. INCLUDES: One Key, original Elie Blue Hydrometer, Original humidifiers that attach via magnet, original care/use booklet with Walnut Burl sample piece it was crafted from, and one (optional) Elie Blue Humidifier canister. Elie Bleu humidors are meticulously handcrafted in Paris, often taking up to six months to produce. The exterior features an exquisite, high-gloss finish, typically achieved through eight coats of lacquer. The interior is lined with cedar wood, known for its ability to absorb and restore humidity, which is ideal for preserving cigars. (The included Elie Blue cannister humidifier fits on the side if you don’t use the secondary top tray and/or prefer not to use the humidifiers attached to the lid) Condition: This box is Pre-owned but still in excellent condition overall, especially for its age. It is not perfect. There are some small, light, fine scratches in the lacquered finish from natural wear and usage over the years. There are also 3 very small and relatively shallow chips in the top layer of the lacquer, that are shown as best as I could in the photos. These marks are really only visible at certain angles and/or under certain lighting conditions. The brass handles are in excellent condition, with minimal wear marks. The faceplates on the inside humidifiers themselves show signs of wear on the brass plating, some light oxidation, and usage from over the years.. The wax seal on the decorative string on the key has some small cracks in it. You can get new replacement keys from Elie Blue if that bothers you. The Brass plating on the optional humidifer is worn, and the canister does show signs of wear/usage. I uploaded as many detailed pictures as I could to show the Humidor’s actual condition to the best of my ability. It will be fully insured for the listing price. Gorgeous antique solid walnut cigar humidor from the 1940’s. The box measures 19 7/8″ long x 7″ deep x 4 tall. Inside is 8 3/4″ long x 5 7/8″ deep x 3 tall. Base plate is 10 3/8″ x 7 5/8″. Assembled using 5/16 thick solid walnut using a splined miter joint for strength. Refinished with several coats of Satin MinWax varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax for a soft luster. Fully lined with milk glass. 90º hinge holds lid open.
