It was made in California, USA by an experienced cabinetmaker with 30 years of experience in humidor building, it took over six months to build this humidor. It has never been used. The humidor features solid spanish cedar lining with solid mahogany walls, lid and bottom(most high end humidors feature much cheaper MDF construction, even in the lining with thin spanish cedar veneer). The veneer is high quality figured maple and the edge bindings are made of macassar ebony which is a very hard wood and in addition to being decorative, it protects the edges from dents. The underside of the lid features figured spanish cedar as a background for the hygrometer and humidifiers. Figured spanish cedar is very rare and expensive wood. Features a removable tray for a single row of cigars. The escutcheon for the sturdy german made piano lock is CNC machined from stainless steel, mirror polished and gold plated. The lid features USA made bead humidifiers by heartfelt company.
