Rare antique silver-plate pink glass tobacco jar humidor holder box pipe on lid
Up for sale is a wonderful antique pink glass and. Lid features a 3 dimensional pipe resting on the top along with a lovely finial. It mounts to a thick pink glass jar with a gorgeous silhouette. It is in good used condition and measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches wide. There are some small dings on the lid and some ware to the plating. RARE ANTIQUE BENSON & HEDGES SILVER CUT GLASS CIGARETTE BOX with STERLING INSERT
This is quite rare, in excellent condition, only needing a light polishing which I will leave to you. I believe the top is silverplate, and has a fancy engraved monogram, and marked on the inside front edge Benson & Hedges as shown. Inside is a insert that I think is sterling silver, but is not marked, with center pierced box that measures the center section 3″ wide X 2 3/4″. Total this measures 9 3/4″ wide X 3 1/2″ deep X 3 1/4 high. The inside insert weighs 156 grams. Please look closely at my photos for details.
