Vintage Wood Round Cylinder TOBACCO HUMIDOR OR CIGAR BOX Curved Panels 9 1/2 T

Beautiful vintage circular or round and scalloped paneled Pipe Tobacco or Cigar Humidor/Holder. It is made of a hardwood and has a brass finial on the circus tent top. Measures 10″ tall x 6″ dia. Inside opening 3 3/4″ opening, x 5 1/4″ deep, 3/4 thick. It is very well made and very clean with no odor. This item was found at a world traveler’s estate sale so not sure where he would of picked it up at. The wood has a lot of wood grain and dark/light areas. Not sure what type of wood but feel it is a hardwood of some sort. Very nice warm, rich, patina’d color. The bottom of the base that is not seen looks to be a particle board and there is an indented hole that does not go through. 4 felt pads for furniture protection. Vintage Dunhill Alligator Top Wooden Cigar Humidor Box. Nice old box with unique alligator hide on top of lid. Original Dunhill label on inside. Well used vintage condition. Some surface finish wear through on edges and sides. Box is structurally fine. Lid is tight and hinges are stout. The under-glass humidity material on inside bottom of box should be replaced. It measures 11 1/2″ long by 7 1/2″ deep by 4 1/4 tall. Weighs 4 lbs 9 oz. In excellent vintage condition. The upper wood exterior is nearly blemish-free. The bottom shows wear. Inside has a pleasant tobacco smell. The plastic bottom is intact. The metal lining on the top. Is stained and has light tarnish. Whatever came attached to the clip is gone. Constructed from Solid Mahogany with Cedar Wood lined interiors. A Silver plated, solid brass Mechanical handle raises both lids when lifted. The handle, curved hinge riders & feet covers are all Silver Plated. The dimensions of this fine hand-made table cigar box are. Length 28 cms (11 inches), width 18.5 cms (7.25inches), height inc. Handle 15 cms (6 inches). Weight approx: 1.7 Kg (3.12 lb). The feet and underside are covered in a felt material to prevent scratching surfaces. In Very Good Condition Throughout.
