Designed as an octagonal box this original smoking tobacco humidor is made from mahogany. The lid pops open by pressing the white dot on the front to reveal an aluminum storage area inside. This humidor dates to the 1940s era. Marked on base: Alfred Dunhill London New York A great addition to your rare tobacco, Alfred Dunhill collection or English home decor. MEASUREMENTS Octagonal wooden humidor measures 6″ tall by 5.5″ wide by 5.5 deep and weighs 2lb 1oz. CONDITION In good condition considering age and use, with loss of lacquer throughout (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). Vintage SWISS Black Forest Chalet CIGAR HUMIDOR Cottage House BOX Hand Carved. This piece is VERY COOL and truly “ONE OF A KIND”.. ! It has two compartments under the roof and a built in lighter inside the chimney. It resembles an old traditional Black Forest Chalet from Switzerland. Some of the key features to identify are the Swiss wooden clogs outside the front door and the large overhanging eaves on the roof, typically seen on cottages in the Black Forest mountain range of the Alps. This beautiful area is well renowned for its enchanting Spas and masterful wood work that led to the invention of the world famous German Cuckoo Clocks. N the inside lid, there is a small painting of the Jesuit Church in Lucerne, Switzerland. On top, the chimney flips open a built in lighter. You may look closely and notice all the tiny details that are quite fascinating and realistic. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is evident in this piece. 12″x 10″x 9. The red paint on the roof is slightly separating, giving it a “cracked” appearance (not significant)… This is most likely due to the paint containing strong solvents… One window shudder is missing on one side window…. Very rare and luxury silver plated box with a gold plated head horse on top. Wooden interior with removable parts to fits it to your needing. Made by Hermes in France, fully marked, circa 1970s, very hard to find. Written on base Banco do Brasil, Paris. 1972 1982 that means it was gift from Bank of Brazil in Paris in the 1970s. 19cm wide X 12,7cm depth x 3cm high. All, original, pre-owned, has some minor wear from general usage, and general signs of age, no important damage or dents, great overall condition, please see pictures. Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Vintage Wood Humidor Travel Storage Case Inlaid Decorative Box Tobacco Leaf. DESCRIPTION Original wooden cigar humidor box. Empty humidor box made from various woods. Inlays and lacquer on the outside complete with original working digital hygrometer and two moisture pads. The inside is lined with cedar to retain the moisture levels and there is a pull out tray to reveal a secondary layer underneath. The top side of the box is decorated with a tobacco leaf which has a black lacquered background surrounded by a banded border. A great addition to any smoking room, man cave or bar area. This would make a great early holiday gift. MEASUREMENTS Wooden humidor measures 9.5″ wide by 13.5″ long by 6 deep weighs 7lb. CONDITION In good condition and ready to use with a couple of light surface scratch scuff marks (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
