Attractive antique silverplate filigree decorates the exterior of the cigar box. Interior contains a removable metal liner. No key is included; box is unlocked. External dimensions: 11.5 x 7 x 6.5 inches. Internal dimensions: 10.5 x 6.25 x 5.5 inches. Weight: 4.5 pounds. Good antique condition; definite signs of use, both interior and exterior; filigree is loose in many spots; does not come with key. Weights and measurements are approximate. The lid shows a handsome plaque (probably bronze) showing a target, a gun, and oak leaves, and is in high relief. MEASURES: 1 3/4″ tall, 4 7/8″ wide, and 3 1/2 deep (at the lid). Marked on the out- and in-side Davidoff and Grande Réserve. The box measures about 35x27cm and 16cm in height. The box is in as found condition, untouched, uncleaned, with traces of its age and use. In incredible condition, this super rare Hermes mirror box features the engine-turned classic Chaine D’Ancre pattern. Very rarely seen (we’ve not seen one before) the humidor is 6.25 in. X 1.85 in. Made of silver plate and wood, this stunner is the most regal of desk accessories. And it’s generously sized. As photographed, there are expected markings to the underside.
