Refinished and Repurposed 1900s Vintage Walnut Cigar Humidor + Felt Lining

Beautiful vintage repurposed and refinished cigar humidor. Made of solid walnut. Measures 11″ long x 8″ deep x 4 tall. Inside is 10 1/8″ long x 7 1/4″ deep x 3 1/4 tall. Sides are 3/8 solid walnut assembled using the splined miter joint for strength and esthetics. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Inside of lid and bottom are lined with a deep royal blue felt. Original finish, the wood is Mahogany. Beveled Edge Lid with a Silver Plaque No Monogram. Silver front Lock Plate with Key. This is an excellent quality 1900s table top humidor with a bright metal interior that has a mirror like finish and appearance. The top plate and front lock cover are a silver colored metal that are tarnished and. Un – marked as to its metal or its purity or composition un-tested. This is a true vintage / antique found in a local estate. The key was taped inside and when I tried the key it operated fine.
