GORGEOUS! Large Chinese Enamel Brass Humidor Cigar Box Vintage Cloisonne Antique

Vintage Enameled Brass Cigar Box. Early 1900s from China. This splendid cigar box might be one of the most exceptional examples available! Made from a brass frame and painted in enamel, the level of detail on this box is breathtaking! A Royal blue background gives way to a highly intricate white and slate blue floral motif, with brightly colored accents at the corners. A solid lime green interior and base bring a spark and color not often seen in other enameled pieces. This piece is signed on the base with CHINA, denoting it being an export piece. This likely dates to the early-to-mid 1900s. This box is in EXCELLENT condition. It has very few signs of use or wear, and the level of detail is highly preserved! There are two minor nicks to the edges: one on the front right and one on the back left. There is also an exceedingly minor spot of surface wear to a spot on the top. The inside of the box has some crazing to the top. Overall, these signs of age and use are exceedingly minimal and are either not very noticeable or blend in well with the pattern. Length: 6 in (15.5 cm) Width: 4.75 in (12 cm) Height: 1.5 in (3.8 cm). Your item will come from a pet and smoke-free home. Rare Antique Eisenlohr’s Cinco Cigar General Store Humidor Advertising Counter Display Case. Approximate 9″ High at Highest point x 10″W x 21 Long. Tapered Presentation with detachable top sign and three separate opening glass doors to retrieve the cigars. This gorgeous tobacco memorabilia humidor and display case is from around the 1930s. The doors function well. Each glass door was made to accept the cigar box top of the cigar placed underneath it. Here’s a chance to own a piece of tobacco history. This will make an excellent addition to your tobacco room. No chips, cracks or other damage. The slide in image at the top of the display may have been under glass at one time. Delightful & RARE antique French Napoleon III or Victorian to early Edwardian era 8 3/8 tall cigar presenter box or smoker’s casket in the form of an OUTHOUSE, privy or latrine with front stairs & railing, carved door handle & latch, brass tack accenting and wonderful visual & decorative appeal! Not actually a humidor per se, there is no soaker or humidifier in this one. Isn’t this just to die for. Just in from France and you really can’t look at it without smiling. Open the door and inside is the actual seat, a hole that is likely to hold match sticks with a striker on the floor in front and fittings on the door itself to hold cigars. The lid also raises up to a small compartment for other accoutrement. A rare and delightfully mischievous little piece, don’t miss it! I haven’t tested to see if the striker works on a match but that would be the only real flaw if not. As you can see, this little treasure has been well cared for, likely displayed in a cabinet or vitrine for years and years. See pictures for all measurements. We’re easy to deal with.
