Antique Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Cigar Humidor Box. Stamped on the back. The M mark is for John C. Moore II (directorship of Tiffany from 1907 – 1947). This box is lined in cedar wood. Approximate measurements 7 1/2″ long by 3 1/2″ deep x 2 high. Approximate weight 1.280 lb. There is a monogram that reads “E F Mc W”. The piece shows typical, although minor, signs of wear or age. (I dont know what the metal is, I make no claim). Wood lined bottom section of box is intact, top section wood has come loose with one side piece missing. Not a difficult project but with it loose you have a good chance of duplicating other piece. The box displays beautifully as is. Restored & Repurposed Antique Solid Tiger Oak Cigar Humidor Fully Felt Lined

Fully restored and repurposed antique solid tiger oak cigar humidor lined royal blue felt. Blank engraving plate and working lock (no key). Takes an open square key not included. Outside bottom is covered in a dark green felt. Edges on lid are rounded over. Box measures 11 1/2″ long x 7 3/4″ deep x 4 5/8 tall. Inside is 10 1/2″ long x 6 7/8″ deep x approximately 4 tall. Constructed of 1/2 thick oak and uses a splined miter joint for strength and appearance. Box was cleaned and refinished with Min Wax Satin varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax for a soft luster. 90º hinges hold lid open. Antique 19th Century Victorian Period. Tiger Oak & Brass Mount. A wonderful desk top cigar smokers cabinet constructed in the manner of a safe in beautifully grained Tiger Oak with ebony string highlights and English Royal crests to doors. Brass mounts and handles, the brass lock cover slides open to reveal a fully operational lock alas no key. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of four draws for cigar storage. The cabinet is in beautiful condition. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 9 1/2″(24.1cm) wide by 9 1/2″ (24.1cm) high by 7(17.8cm) deep. Would make a wonderful gift. Antique Victorian Wood BoxMetal Claws FeetMarquetry. Tea Caddy OR Tobacco OR? The box is about 11″ wide claw feet to claws feet x 9″ x 7 tall. It seams made of mahogany wood, but I’m not sure about it. Please examine the pictures carefully as they are essential part of the description. Item has damages such as on the one hinge, scratches, one marquetry corner inlay is missing (pic 4), the wood has line cracks on the bottom. Otherwise it’s functional despite the flaws, and the key is working. Thank you and have a great day! This case is in Good condition for its age. The case has white porcelain tiles. There are a couple of cracked tiles and a couple broken on the bottom (please see pictures). This is consistent with the age and use of the case. The case has a metal bracket. The door open and closes as it should. On the inside of the case there is a label that reads – Porcelain Cigar Case, Pat. Applied For, Made by Wilke Mfg. The case measures approx. 25 Tall by 18 Wide by 19 1/2 Deep.
