Antique handmade English wood silver-plate porcelain tobacco jar humidor box

Up for sale is a wonderful handmade antique English lidded tobacco jar. It hand made from wood and has a sheen finish with silver-plated handle and badge on the face. It also has a matching wooden removable lid. The inside is lined with thick white porcelain bucket and also has a high gloss finish. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall without measuring handle by 5 3/4 inches wide. The piece is in nice condition but has a split where the two pieces of wood were mounted together. Refer to last photo. Antique Fine Cigar / Jewelry Display Box Handmade Hinged Walnut Table Wood Box

Gorgeous, well hand crafted wooden walnut and brass table top cigar display box in excellent condition. There is a brass emblem for engraving, but there is no monogram. There are no deep scratches or discoloration of any kind, despite the piece being easily well over 100 years old. The inside is lined with stainless steel. The hinges are internal, allowing the lid to fit perfectly flush with the rim of the box. There is a lock but I do not have a key. May be used for any number of purposes. Refinished and Repurposed Antique Solid Mahogany Cigar Humidor + Felt Lining

Beautiful early 1900s repurposed and refinished cigar humidor. Made of solid mahogany. Measures 10 3/4″ long x 7 1/4″ deep x 4 1/4 tall. Inside is 9 3/4″ long x 6 1/4″ deep x 3 3/4 tall. Sides are 1/2 solid mahogany assembled using the splined miter joint for strength and esthetics. 90º hinges keep lid open during use. Lock, escutcheon and monogram plate are solid brass. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Bottom is fully lined with a hunter green felt and inside of the lid uses the same material. Lock works, but no key. Lid has a slight twist from age. Restored & Repurposed Antique Solid Tiger Oak Cigar Humidor Fully Felt Lined

Fully restored and repurposed antique solid tiger oak cigar humidor lined royal blue felt. Blank engraving plate and working lock (no key). Takes an open square key not included. Outside bottom is covered in a dark green felt. Edges on lid are rounded over. Box measures 11 1/2″ long x 7 3/4″ deep x 4 5/8 tall. Inside is 10 1/2″ long x 6 7/8″ deep x approximately 4 tall. Constructed of 1/2 thick oak and uses a splined miter joint for strength and appearance. Box was cleaned and refinished with Min Wax Satin varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax for a soft luster. 90º hinges hold lid open. Antique 19th Century Victorian Period. Tiger Oak & Brass Mount. A wonderful desk top cigar smokers cabinet constructed in the manner of a safe in beautifully grained Tiger Oak with ebony string highlights and English Royal crests to doors. Brass mounts and handles, the brass lock cover slides open to reveal a fully operational lock alas no key. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of four draws for cigar storage. The cabinet is in beautiful condition. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 9 1/2″(24.1cm) wide by 9 1/2″ (24.1cm) high by 7(17.8cm) deep. Would make a wonderful gift.
