Rare Antique Russian Ptd COSSACKS Tobacco Humidor Box Vishnyakov Imperial Era. Offering a very handsome Antique Russian Painted Humidor/Tobacco Box. Signed inside by celebrated VISHNYAKOV– awarded numerous gold Imperial medals. Retains original interior tin foil paper. Well loved– inside retains the lingering aroma of tobacco. Lid– hand painted– portraying Russian woman peasant and two Cossacks. One playing the accordion and one dancing– kicking up his heels. Rare to see Cossack dancing on Russian boxes– usually painted are Troika sleds. Wear commensurate with age and use. Thumping, bumps and wear on corners– see images. Crazing on painted lid, but painting itself is in very good condition. Hinges are strong and stable. Approx– 5 3/8″ by 3 3/8″ by 3 1/4 h. Hard to find early signed Box. Wonderful scene of animated Russian country life. Rare to find Humidor/Tobacco box with original silver foil. We wrap all our items very carefully. TIFFANY & CO Antique Humidor Box with KEY 1870-1906 Union Square

Rare find: Authentic Tiffany & Co Wood Humidor Presentation Box with Brass Detail & Key. Tiffany & Co resided on the corner of 15th St. And Union Square West from 1870 – 1906. Made of wood with veneer and brass details, it measures 8″ wide x 9″ deep x 3 7/8 high. Inside dimensions are 6 5/8″ x 6 5/8″ x approx 2 3/8 high. It weighs 2 lbs – 12 oz. Brass has some wear from age, veneer has small chip on side – please see photos. Key turns but I haven’t been able to engage the lock. Pencil writing on inside bottom reads Danish Blue. Superb Antique Oak Cigarette and Cigar Table Box c. The Box is white metal bound with two sections labelled for cigarettes and cigars. The boxs interior is Cedar lined to keep the contents fresh. Cigar label missing 2 letters, one bottom corner of the box chipped, otherwise in very nice original antique condition with some age wear and few small scratches. Box is 28 centimetres or 11 inches long, 16.5 centimetres or 6.5 inches wide and 11 centimetres or 4.3 inches tall including handle. Heavy – 1 kilo unpacked. Antique French bronze tobacco cigarette cigar dispenser humidor jar music box

Up for sale is a very rare high quality antique 19th century gilt bronze cigar, cigarette, and match dispenser urn made in France. It beautifully engraved with intricate detailing throughout done in high relief. It’s made of thick bronze, has a nice patina from age and has nice weight to it. The piece holds all the tobacco contents inside and are dispensed when the finial is pulled upward. It is a telescoping design and can be opened one at a time. The largest bottom shelf holds cigars, the middle cigarettes, and the smallest matches. There is also a slide striker pad on the base that is hidden when not being used. The urn is very nicely tri-footed with ornate solid bronze claw feet. It’s in nice condition and 17 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide when closed. There is a winding arm by the foot that operates the music box. Unfortunately the music box needs a new coil as it was overwound. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable. Most items are antique or vintage and could have usual ware from age. Antique Early Edwardian Period. Tiger Oak Brass Bound. A stunning late Victorian to early Edwardian period desk top campaign style cigar smokers cabinet constructed in beautifully grained English tiger oak with brass inlay cartouche to lid and protect sides and corners. The lid opens to reveal a fully fitted interior consisting of six compartments with movable separators for different size cigar storage finished. In stunning condition minus key. Dimensions: 17″(43.2cm) wide by 1 1 1/4″ (28.5cm) high by 4 1/4(10.8cm) deep. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Campaign Furniture is a type of furniture made for travel. Historically, much of it was made for military campaigns. A similar type of furniture was made for naval service, and even for merchant ships, which allowed furnishings to be used in port or peacetime, but stowed out of harm’s way in action, or during rough weather.
