The top etching depicts a Sir Walter Raleigh type fellow with a 17th century-style pipe. On either side of him, is a chair & hearth. The front etching shows a fireplace mantle decorated with a lock box, ale tankard, plate & 4 different types of pipes. The left and right sides are books & a smoking pipe.
