Antique 18th Century Lead Tobacco Box Jar w/ Napoleon & Birds Georgian. Original piece from the late 1700 – early 1800. There is dent on one side on the bottom edge. Has wear form use and age. The feet are still good. Roughly 5 inches tall. See photo for overall condition. Look over the photos for general overall condition of the item. I present to you cigar carousels made in the 19th century in France. Both have signs of use, damage, and wear. The majority of flaws are on the exterior, while the interior is in better condition. Each carousel has 6 doors, outside of which there are metal emblems, and inside there is space for cigars. Each door has a brass base and a holder for three cigars, so in total, we can accommodate 18 cigars. The dark carousel is in better condition. The base is slightly curved, probably these carousels were stored in a humid place. There is also a small crack on the base. The light-colored carousel is in worse condition. The base is significantly curved, but all the doors open. There is a chip on the base and on the upper surface. There are also cracks on the base. This carousel is missing one metal emblem and a gear at the bottom. If it is installed, all the doors will open when the top handle is turned. I have taken photos from every angle, and I hope I have conveyed the condition of each carousel. However, if you have any questions, need additional photos, or just want to chat, feel free to write. Antique Continental Inlaid Wooden Box – Europe – 19th Century. Probably dating from the later part of the 19th Century, a beautifully inlaid wooden tobacco? Each of the 24 panels are a work of art, with detailed marquetry inlay, depicting scenes of rural life, including peasants making pasta. Separate lid is well fitting. There is a lock keyhole on the side (no key) and box is unlocked. Interior shows openings for cigarettes or cigars, with a central container that can be raised for holding loose tobacco? Interior of lid is lined with rich, blue velvet, apparently original to the piece. Old cracks, chips and losses throughout. Please examine photos carefully for condition. Some of the inlay has old damage and old repairs (see last three photos). A beautiful and interesting antique piece that would make a wonderful display piece! 9 Inches Tall 4.5 Inches Wide.
