Antique Wind Up Music Box 2 Airs 1882 Cigar Humidor Hinged Box Silver Decoration. Measures 6 1/2″ x 9 7/8″ and 5 1/2 high closed. It is a footed box which is rather unique – 2 ball feet in the front and 2 peg feet in the back, it sits nicely level. The top silver decoration Art Nouveau cigar leaf with word cigars looks like it might be sterling but I could not find a silver mark. The bottom base wood panel has a crack. The box is complete other than the key for the lock which we do not have. There is an old paper label on the bottom that I can read “2 airs” but not much else can be seen clearly. The wood finish and the magnificent silver top Cigars decoration have a nice aged patina. Please see my 12 photos. Guaranteed a genuine antique late 19th century musical humidor box. Antique SOLID Cherry Wood 1885 Humidor Box Folk Art Decoration Fraktur Cut Outs

This estate fresh, un-restored solid cherry wood humidor from the 1880’s measures 9″ x 14″ x 8 1/2 overall and retains original surface on the outside and original zinc interior. One end has a tinsmith made zinc drawer for a damp sponge and all of the exterior is decorated with delicately cut-out and colored pictorial paper decorations of birds, trees, castle, horsemen and flowers. It retains original brass hinges and ceramic knob and is sturdy (dirty) and usable with some gentle cleaning. The wood bottom is a bit soft from years of dripping moisture from the “sponge drawer” and there is significant wear and loss to the applied paper decoration on the lid. Antique Metal Tobacco Humidor Box with Raised Dragon and Flower Decoration. Heavy (2#s) Metal Humidor Rectangular Bronze look Box with Raised Oriental Dragon and Flower Design. (I dont know what the metal is, I make no claim). Wood lined bottom section of box is intact, top section wood has come loose with one side piece missing. Not a difficult project but with it loose you have a good chance of duplicating other piece. The box displays beautifully as is.
