Large antique german black forest cigar humidor box early 1900's woodwork lions

Large antique cigar humidor. Germany, early 1900’s, made of wood. Height : 17.5 in. Width : 10.5 in. Depth : 6.5 in. My name is Greg, I’m a French guy who had business in Charlotte NC for 3 years. Unfortunately, I had to move back to France because of a slow activity. I fell in love with the US, particulary Charlotte! So now my only goal is to return to Charlotte, and for that I want to export French furnitures and antiques there! This idea came because of my love for wood and history. It is a great area to find valuable furnitures and smalls because of the proximity of wealthy ski resorts like Megève and Chamonix Mont-Blanc. It is also close to Geneva (switzerland), about 45minutes by car. The Geneva area is one of the richest in Europe due to finance and whatchmaking. Italy’s not to far as well, 40 minutes. So when you’re living and picking in this kind of environment, It is not rare to come across real pieces of art and history. This item is in the category “Antiques\Other Antiques”. The seller is “2ways-xport” and is located in this country: FR. This item can be shipped worldwide.

1930 German Koch&Bergfeld Silver Plate Egyptian Revival Art Cigar Box Humidor

Just now, I’m offering here a marvelous and scarce German Art Deco era cigarette/cigar box. Important lidded box by Koch&Bergfeld featuring Egyptian revival motifs at all sides. Fine silver plated brass box marked on the bottom with Koch&Bergfeld key mark; lettering” Feinsiber Auf.’ and retail store Egyptian motif mark, unidentifyed by me. It is absolutely great example of Art Deco decorative arts, in my opinion professional artist work. Richly decorated repose brass with many Egyptian motifs, Pyramids, Warriors, Temples, Lions Hunting scene and main motif on the lid Egyptian Pharaoh on Chariot. The box lined inside with mahogany wood on bottom and on sides to be used with cigars. The box is excellent preserved for its age with dark tone patina on silver at outside. Originate from private collection in Germany. Original condition; Please, inspect all photos carefully as they are included as part of the item description. Measures: 9.5” x 5.25” x 3” h. All my items are true vintage or as described, all authentic and original collectable items. They are described the best way I can. All questions will be answered on time depending on the time-zone differences. Package will be securely wrapped to prevent any damage. If needed in double box.
