Rare old PUNCH CRYSTALS all glass box CIGAR HUMIDOR with seal NO CIGARS blue velvet PROVISIONAL cigar advertising. What a great find – RARE & UNIQUE – for the cigar connoisseur patent applied for. This is a very special DESIRABLE cigar box with the bottom provisions (SEE PHOTO) these boxes were to be destroyed after usage. Ideal for the executive desk accessory man cave cigar buff. NOTE: 1st PHOTO OF BOX IS STANDING ON ITS FRONT – as I had difficulty with glare. Fabulous old cigar humidor type glass box. 7L x 6 ¼W x 3. PUNCH CRYSTALS graphic in silver & black. A little normal age / usage wear on the graphic. At one time held 50 cigars empty now. Stained glass style construction with the clear glass panels inserted into channels. Magnet sticks to the channels, bottom & hinges. Channels show age related rust polishing up to the end user. Four sides & top are glass with the bottom being metal (magnet sticks to bottom). Glass is in nice antique / vintage condition with only a few small surface scratches. Free of cracks. One very small glass knick on the lid side edge facing left (photo #10). Fancy somewhat Gothic looking steel? Hinges some rust (polishing up to the end user). Interior bottom lined in a rich cobalt blue velvet. Free of tears. FANTASTIC UNDERSIDE METAL BOTTOM. Half of the original stencil seal remains as shown. RARE imprinted in black with 4 statutes & provisions (contact for information on the imprint). Metal shows signs of age rub wear. Box only – most likely, Canada? Original contents were probably, from Cuba? And distributed by / in Canada. Age unknown: perhaps, mid-century? Feedback will be left when feedback is received. Here is a wonderful old well built white glass lined mahogany wood tobacco/cigar box with working lock and key. Box appears to be a Dunhill by the construction but does hot have the label. Box is in solid condition with some wear including scuffs and scratches. Lid fits well with a good seal. Box exterior measures approximately 12-1/2″ across x 8-3/4″ deep x 7-3/4 tall. Key is not original to the box but does work. See pictures for more details. Beautifully refinished solid walnut cigar humidor. Measures 12″ long x 8″ deep x 4 1/4 tall. Inside is 11″ long x 7″ deep x 3 1/2 tall. Sides are 1/2 thick and assembled using the splined miter joint. 90º hinges in good working order. Exterior refinished with MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. The entire inside is lined with milk glass. All joints are solid. 1920-30's EGYPTIAN MOTIF TOBACCO BOX, WOOD, EMBOSSED LEATHER, LINED IN MILK GLASS

Wonderful 1920’s – 1930’s footed tobacco box or cigar box. This is a wood box covered with a thin leather layer and lined with milk glass. The leather is embossed with an Egyptian motif, with some muted coloring. The top shows an Egyptian queen holding a lotus flower in a papyrus (felucca) vessel with a servant rowing, the Nile shows in the background and more flowers are around the boat. The sides are decorated with more lotus flowers. It is 8″ x 4 3/8″ x 3 1/4 high and has a latch that opens by pushing a small brass button. The glass lining is intact without chips or cracks. Here and there it has some minor scrapes in the leather, mostly on corners and edges. There is a small area of leather missing, about 2 1/2″ x 1/2″on one end and the leather on the bottom has some cracks. Please look at the photos carefully, they are part of the description. The last 3 photos were taken with a flash, the rest were in natural light by a window. I enter the actual weight of the package and E bay calculates how much it will cost to go from my zip code to yours. If it seems excessive, it is just due to where you live and the weight of the package. My goal is to get items to you undamaged, but I have received many items broken, the post office is not very careful I’ve discovered. If something arrives and the box looks like it’s been mishandled, please take a photo, then if there is damage get a photo of the damage and send these to me so I can start a claim.
