Humidor is made of oak, then has another layer of a different kind of wood then has white milk glass or marble. Top/ lid has a clay type material as seen in pictures. Really well made and appears it should keep cigar really fresh. Has patent date under the lid on box. Good condition with normal wear with age, scuffs, scratches, and discoloration to the front from use and age. Key is wrong one but will lock the box, but will not unlock, So don’t lock it. May need locksmith / correct key?? Lock mechanism should work with correct key. Left screw is also stripped on the lock but is there and original to the box. Missing two feet which could easily be replaced or remove the old ones, not really needed. Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Vintage Large 1930s Wooden Mahogany Humidor Milk Glass Lined Wood Cigar Box. DESCRIPTION Vintage large wooden mahogany humidor dating to the 1930’s and most likely British in origin. Lined internally with milk glass and a cedar ridge this large heavy mahogany cigar storage box retains its original sponge grill and inset brass handles. Complete with a working key, it locks securely. This would suit any cigar store or cigar collectors collection for both practical and aesthetic reasons. This could also be used to store dried flowers in as it had previously been used for. Unmarked but very similar to the old Benson and Hedges humidors and there are 4 small holes on the lid where the original makers or owners plaque would have been fixed. A fabulous addition to you vintage smoking room decor. MEASUREMENTS Humidor measures 19.5″ wide by 13.5″ deep by 13.25 tall and weighs 20lb 6oz. CONDITION This humidor is in good condition with no damage to the interior milk glass or filter. The outer wood shows a crack in the wood towards the bottom on the front. There is some damage to the wood at the edges, on the top, and throughout commensurate with age and use (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). Vintage Wood Humidor Box Inlaid Wood Locking Beveled Glass Lid Hygrometer
This is a beautiful humidor with wood inlay design on the top and front and back. The box measures 13 3/4″ in length by 6″ in height with a hinged lid with beveled glass. The front has a lock along with a Hygrometer. Inside is a removeable wood tray along with what I guess are two devices to keep the cigars moist. Condition is excellent with one minor blemish to the top. A truly beautiful well made piece. International to pay Priority cost.
