Vintage handmade wood brass steel copper Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau cigar box

Up for sale is an extremely high quality vintage handmade Arts and Crafts cigar box. It’s made out of a hand carved mahogany base and completely embellished with ornate Arts and Crafts detailing throughout. The box has very thick forged steel sides with copper appliqués and hardware all held with exquisite brass riveting. It has elaborate pivoting handles on each side made of brass and copper mounts and a hinged lock on the face. The box opens on a hinge and is lined with a thick stainless steel lining. It’s in exquisite condition and is extremely heavy. Measures 13 inches long by 8 1/2 inches wide by 5 7/8 inches tall. It may have has a removable shelf inside. Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century handmade wooden marquetry cigar humidor box. It’s crafted with elaborate design consisting of hand cut and inlaid marquetry detailing throughout and finished with a floral detailed velour lining underneath. This lovely hinged box has a tapered lid and is lined with a tin metal lining meant for cigar preservation. It has an elaborate Art Deco cast iron locking mechanism on the face but does not have a key. It’s in nice used condition and measures 11 inches long by 7 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall. It’s made out of a hand sculpted mahogany base and embellished with a ornate hand engraved brass insignia inset on the lid with its lettering reading “WPK”. The lid opens on hinges exposing the lovely quality milk glass interior surrounded by cedar walls. It’s in exquisite condition and measures 10 3/4 inches long by 7 3/4 inches wide by 4 inches tall.
