DUNHILL Wood Humidor Cigar box, beautifully veneered box , i believe the veneer to be mahogany. The brass inlaid hinges are of top quality as can be seen in the photos, they are not standard cheap design. The brass lock escutcheon is inlaid into the box. This is a very finely crafted humidor. There is a small amount of damage to the veneer on the back edge of the lid this is only visible from the back of the box. This is fully repairable without too much work. A good quality wooden cigar humidor made by Dunhill. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks. Marked Dunhill inside the lid and “Made in Italy” on the base. Age / date of manufacture. Measures 9 7/8″ (25cm) x 7 1/2″ (19cm) x 3 7/8 (9.75cm). In fair used condition. Exterior – There is a dent to the top, front right corner (as shown in the photographs) and there are scratches and scuff marks to the surface of the wood on the exterior which can be seen when it is held up to the light. Interior – Complete with moveable partitions. Has a split to the wood on one of the hinges on the left side (please see the photographs). The metal humidifier has some tarnish.
