Antique Early Edwardian Period. Tiger Oak Brass Bound. A stunning late Victorian to early Edwardian period desk top campaign style cigar smokers cabinet constructed in beautifully grained English tiger oak with brass inlay cartouche to lid and protect sides and corners. The lid opens to reveal a fully fitted interior consisting of six compartments with movable separators for different size cigar storage finished. In stunning condition minus key. Dimensions: 17″(43.2cm) wide by 1 1 1/4″ (28.5cm) high by 4 1/4(10.8cm) deep. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture.
