Refinished and Repurposed 1900s Vintage Walnut Cigar Humidor + Felt Lining

Beautiful vintage repurposed and refinished cigar humidor. Made of solid walnut. Measures 11″ long x 8″ deep x 4 tall. Inside is 10 1/8″ long x 7 1/4″ deep x 3 1/4 tall. Sides are 3/8 solid walnut assembled using the splined miter joint for strength and esthetics. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Inside of lid and bottom are lined with a deep royal blue felt. Antique Wood Oak Cigar Humidor Box w/ Metal Lining and Lock Hardware. Outside of box in good condition, some wear and surface scratches due to age and use. Metal hardware intact and lock works (comes with key). Inner metal lining has oxidization and tarnishing from age and use. Inner edge of wood has chip/ worn spot. Top metal label plate has some tarnishing and has initials “CCK” engraved. Please see pics for details. Up for sale here we have a Vintage Alfred DUNHILL of London Wood Humidor Cigar Box. We found this at a recent estate sale. We just thought it was a cool old wood box, we didn’t realize it was a cigar box. As you can see it has nicks and scratches. The label has come up a bit. It opens an closes smoothly. What you see in the photos is what you get. The box measures 8.25″ x 5.25″ x 3.25. It is a heavy solid wood construction with inner top and bottom copper plates.
