Solid Sterling Silver and Niello Cigarette Box. A very unusual solid silver and niello cigarette box. Of rectangular form, with checkered niello decoration throughout. The interior of the box is lined in cedar. Hallmarked to underside for Sterling silver and maker Ernst Menner. Unusual to find a full sized cigarette box in niello. A fine, usable piece of silver. In good antique condition with expected wear. Some minor wear to niello ar corners. Wear to the underside as seen in pictures. Hallmarks are clear and legible. Height: approx 4 cm.
