Just now, I’m offering here a marvelous and scarce German Art Deco era cigarette/cigar box. Important lidded box by Koch&Bergfeld featuring Egyptian revival motifs at all sides. Fine silver plated brass box marked on the bottom with Koch&Bergfeld key mark; lettering” Feinsiber Auf.’ and retail store Egyptian motif mark, unidentifyed by me. It is absolutely great example of Art Deco decorative arts, in my opinion professional artist work. Richly decorated repose brass with many Egyptian motifs, Pyramids, Warriors, Temples, Lions Hunting scene and main motif on the lid Egyptian Pharaoh on Chariot. The box lined inside with mahogany wood on bottom and on sides to be used with cigars. The box is excellent preserved for its age with dark tone patina on silver at outside. Originate from private collection in Germany. Original condition; Please, inspect all photos carefully as they are included as part of the item description. Measures: 9.5” x 5.25” x 3” h.
