Antique Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Wood Lined Humidor Box. This classic box is made of sterling silver & is lined in cedar wood. The style of the M mark is for John C. Moore II (directorship of Tiffany from 1907 – 1947). Approximate measurements 7 1/4″ long by 3 1/4″ deep x 2 high. Approximate weight 438 grams. There is a monogram that reads “G H C”. Tiffany & Co antique Sterling Silver Cigar Humidor Box, # 13634 20041B

Antique Sterling Silver signed Tiffany & Co Etched Cigar, Humidor Document or Desk Trinket Box, marked Tiffany & Co 20041B Makers 13634 Sterling Silver 925-100 M on the bottom. 9.25 x 6.0 x app. 3.5 in size. Has initials engraved on the cover with a raised, etched design of bows and ribbons. We are not sure if this was a cigar box or a desk box but it has a slight odor of cigars inside. In very nice antique condition, No dents, but the bottom edge has a few nicks – see photos # 4 and 5 for an idea, inside has tarnish and dirt as well as tarnish on the outside which we did not clean or polish and leave that to the new owner, hinge is fine, inside of the cover has a gold hue to it, we are not sure this had gilt at one time, or is just tarnish and the side of the inside has discoloration and tarnish and bottom inside has rusty looking dirt or tarnish. You also see some camera reflections and shadows, bottom also has some scratches and we left the piece as found. Heavy and substantial, weighing 963.45 dwt or 48.17 ounces or 1498.33 grams. Antique 1800's Victorian silver mahogany wood cigar humidor lined tobacco box

Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century handmade wooden cigar humidor box. It’s made out of a rich colored mahogany with fully covered nickel plated metal corners and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The box also features large sterling silver initials on the lid that are done in a dimensional script design. The lid opens on a hinge and has two side mounted chains to hold the lid open at a 90 degree angle. The box is properly lined with a metal humidor and in great condition. It measures 10 1/2 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall. Thank you for visiting “Dusty Treasures ” and please feel free to browse through. Quality Antique Edwardian Leather Desktop Cigar Box Humidor Silver Mounts 1902

A lovely leather covered cigar box, dating from the early 20th Century. The outer of the box is covered in a red leather with a silver mounted shield escutcheon and silver “Cigars” label. Both silver pieces are clearly hallmarked for London 1902. Both flaps of the box lift up to reveal a plain wood lined interior. Height : 3 1/2 (9cm). The box is in good condition for its age. It has been well used but well looked after and has retained its natural aged look. The outer has some small age related knocks and scuffs and minor losses but nothing detrimental. Inside it is generally clean and tidy and overall it displays very well and is certainly a nice usable item. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask. Sterling silver overlay decorations, applied without soldering. Hinged, top lid with pierced under lid liner for better conservation of the tobacco products kept inside. A characteristic design from the American Arts & Crafts movement, with intricate and stylized floral and natural silver motifs on patinated copper. There is a mark ” Sterling” on the silver upfront. Antique English Sterling Silver Cigar Box / Humidor 1905

A fabulous chunky double cigar box / humidor. Standing on four original ball feet, the box has two lidded compartments, lined in Cedar wood to keep the contents fresh. These are often referred to as Humidors, this is a modern invention and so isn’t officially a humidor; it is the Cedar wood that did the job. Made from English sterling silver, there are numerous hallmarks to all the components, most rubbed due to the smooth finish of the box. The marks can be made out to be for Birmingham 1905, a true Edwardian example. An impressive piece in excellent condition, minor wear commensurate with age. 10″ x 6″ x 4 1/2 tall to top of handle.
