Incredible Antique Tiffany & Co. Etched Sterling Silver Wood Lined Humidor Box. This elegant box is made of highly detailed sterling silver & is lined in wood. Very Fine acid-etched scroll mesh lace pattern. Box and cover cedar lined and partitioned. The silver has been lightly polished to highlight the fine etching. There are minor dings and imperfections. The wood lining has a crack on the bottom, and just 2 of the original 3 removable dividers remain. The wood retains the luscious scent from Partagas gone by. Your local jeweler should be able to quickly remove the engraved initials from the lid. This is a thoroughly glamorous gift for a Man or Woman. We believe the box dates to 1931 or prior, under the directorship of Jo hn C. Moore II (1907 – 1947). Approximate measurements 9-1/4″ long by 5-3/4″ deep x 1-3/4 high. Beautiful antique Meriden sliver plate humidor / cigar box. The item is featured with a hunting dog carrying a rabbit. The item is very rare and highly collectible. The lid sits nice and tight, and it is complete with the divider bar which holds the sponges. The lock appears in tact but missing the key. Stunning in its presentation this humidor would be the crown jewel for any cigar aficionado. Measures 7″ X 6.5″ X 6.5 including the height of the dog. Great patina I will leave it up to you to clean. Antique Heintz Art Metal ARTS & CRAFTS Silver on Copper Cigar Box, Humidor. Here is a gorgeous antique cigar box or small humidor, made of thick copper with hardwood lining. Sterling silver overlay decorations, applied without soldering. Hinged, top lid with pierced under lid liner for better conservation of the tobacco products kept inside. A characteristic design from the American Arts & Crafts movement, with intricate and stylized floral and natural silver motifs on patinated copper. There is a mark ” Sterling” on the silver upfront.
