This is a nice antique Cigar Humidor box (see photos). The item looks to be make of Mahogany wood and it has nice mounts that look to be silver plated to me (see photos). The item is antique (see photos). The item has a lock on it and it is open, but I do not have a key (see photos). The item has a mount on each upper and lower corner with the word Cigars written in metal cursive script on the top of the box (see photos). The item would make a welcome addition to your collection (see photos). The item is in as found condition. The item in total measures about 5 inches high, about 7 inches from the front edge to the back side at the top and 10 and 3/4ths inches wide from side to side. The metal word cigars has a break in the lettering and it looks as if there should be more metal around the top of the key ole etscheon that is missing? Original finish, the wood is Mahogany. Beveled Edge Lid with a Silver Plaque No Monogram. Silver front Lock Plate with Key. This is an excellent quality 1900s table top humidor with a bright metal interior that has a mirror like finish and appearance. The top plate and front lock cover are a silver colored metal that are tarnished and. Un – marked as to its metal or its purity or composition un-tested. This is a true vintage / antique found in a local estate. The key was taped inside and when I tried the key it operated fine. A good clean large cigar/humidor box, sterling silver hallmarked from London in 1902, It carries a very nice inscription from London based Sailing Clubs which reads as follows. 1902 Upper Thames Sailing Club, Bourne End “BUSTY” First prize , Sept 6th , Henley Sailing Club First prize for highest aggregate during season for open boats “BUSTY”given by W. Up for sale is a nice high quality antique late 19th century figural cigar box. It’s done with very elaborate detailing, made of a silver plated brass, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The box has an exquisite figural scene depicted on every panel in high relief and is very intricate design. It’s lined with a cedar wooden lining and footed with circular legs. In nice antique condition and measures 7 3/4 inches long by 3 3/4 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. BEAUTIFUL LARGE SILVER ANTIQUE CIGAR BOX. This is a magnificent early 20th-century (1908) sterling silver large cigar box, or can be used as a trinket storage box. Elegant plain finish, with spreading walls and a high domed lid. Raised on four bracket feet. Cedar wood lined interior, in clean condition. The lid closes flush with the body, without leaving any gap. Fully hallmarked on the lid and the body. It is free from inscriptions or monograms. The base measures 9″ x 5 1/2″ approximately. The underside is lined with a real wood panel. HALLMARKS: Chester, STERLING fineness 925. MAKER George Unite & Sons. DIMENSION: 22.5cm x 13.8cm (9″ x 5 1/2″). Height: 7cm (2 3/4) approx.
