Wave Crest Opal Ware Hand Painted Enameled Hinged Cigar Tobacco Humidor Antique
RARE, one of a kind, EXTRA LARGE. Wave Crest Opal Ware Hand Painted Enameled Hinged and footed Cigar Tobacco Humidor Box Antique. This is so beautiful the pictures just don’t do it justice. 6.75 inches tall x 6.5 inches wide. The opening is 5.5 inches wide. Making it easy to store your tobacco products. This is one of the largest of Monroe’s Opal Glass boxes. This is a the puffy egg crate style design. Over 100 years old this beautiful Box is in excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no repairs, no scratches. There is some age tarnishing on the brass collar as shown in the pictures. A bit of history, the CF Monroe Co. Was founded in 1880 in Meriden Connecticut. Hand-Painted enameled in pastel colored floral designs. This beautiful Opal covered cigar box has a ribbed brass collar and clasp, each corner has an ornate ormolu. The brass hinge on the back works smoothly. The front clasp and cover fit evenly and snug. The beautiful footed legs each have a Cherub type figurine adding to its beauty and detail. The inside of the top has a sponge compartment. Grasp the little knob and turn gently to remove it and place a sponge inside and return the lid. Keeping your cigars or tobacco products fresh. 19th C Figural Resting Dog Pipe Cigar Humidor Tobacco Jar Box Yellow Stoneware
An exceptional Yellow Ware Figural Humidor, Continental, Austrian, possibly English, 19th Century heavily-detailed box features framed bird theme motifs on each side and also a lion king crest. A resting Greyhound-type canine sits atop the fitted lid, providing an oversized handle/finial. Superb details and accents throughout. Stamped in the base “HH 80″ Or “HB 80″(see close-up). Condition: There is general, age-appropriate wear, crazing & discoloration on the glaze surface throughout. Several small nicks and small chips as well as a few hairline cracks. Remnants of original gold gilding are visible in areas. The gilding was likely only used for accenting the areas of highest relief. Although the above is noted for complete accuracy; this Humidor displays beautifully and will feature prominently in any collection. See photos for complete details and consider them as part of the description. Item may need some cleaning. I left it as found. Measures approximately 5-5/8″L x 4-3/4″W x 5-1/4H overall.

Rare, antique, silverplate/ quadruple plate, cigar/ cigarette/ tobacco/ smoking box. Gorgeous and unique, this box is oval, the lid lifts up and holds a round mirror (more likely held an ashtray previously). The bottom half has built in spots for perhaps tobacco, ashtray, cutter, matches and cigar. The lid has engraved garland and bow with the monogram “CMS”. The bottom has 4 ball feet. This box is so much lovelier in person than in pictures as it’s still very shiny. I’ This box is perfect for use on your desk, in office, bar top, etc. Measurements: approx 8 1/4″ long x 6 1/2″ wide x 3 1/2 tall. Marks: Colonial Silver Co Quadruple Plate Portland Me 1360. This inkwell is in good antique condition. May have typical signs of vintage use such as slight surface scratches, plating wear, more near the etchings (not obvious at all, looks way better in person than in pictures).
