Antique Victorian Walnut Table Top Cigar Box / Humidor Box with Lock & Key. And stylish antique Victorian walnut table top cigar box, which has lovely decorative detailing. Top has a lovely shaped edge and is finished to the top with lovely. Below this is a pair of doors centred which again have been adorned by. Fretted detailing and lovely shaped and decorative escutcheons. The doors are complete with a working lock and key. Y pretty turned columns. The doors open to reveal seven shelf which can be. Out and are section up. The base has a lovely carved edge to the front and sides and is raised on a bun feet. This would make a beautiful gift to any connoisseur of fine cigars or equally. It has a wealth of other storage uses. The approximate dimensions are: – 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) wide. 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm) deep. 10 inches (25.5 cm) high. As can be seen from the above dimensions this coffer is of lovely petite proportions. The cabinet is circa 1900. A Victorian Oak Humidor. This box is constucted from solid in. There is a nice tiger fleck to the grain. That has a been embellished with a metal work. With corners cartouches and handles. The doors open by pulling the bottom drawer. I have to say not the smoothest of actions. To reveal two cedar lined drawers for your cigars. Both with metal handles. A Victorian Walnut Humidor. This box veneered in. That has a been embellished with a ebony corners. There is a pair of doors on the front. One of which has a bramah lock which is always a sign of quality. The doors open to reveal a pair of drawers. Both with a recessed handle. Each drawer is cedar lined with a partition for your cigars. An outstanding antique 19th century Victorian wooden cigar caddy box. Unique cabinet form with sarcophagus styling to the top. Double front doors, retains a working lock and key. Beautifully carved from walnut perhaps, finished with gorgeous detailing along the edges. Superb hardware throughout, brass or bronze finished in silver gilt. With exquisite openwork at the hinges and ornate lock escutcheons to the front doors. Opening to reveal eight sliding and removable cigar racks, each capable of holding six cigars. Resting on four bun feet. Overall in good condition with general wear commensurate with use and age. The back having a couple of old cracks to the wood panel as shown. Antique 19th Century Victorian Period. Tiger Oak & Brass Mount. A wonderful desk top cigar smokers cabinet constructed in the manner of a safe in beautifully grained Tiger Oak with ebony string highlights and English Royal crests to doors. Brass mounts and handles, the brass lock cover slides open to reveal a fully operational lock alas no key. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of four draws for cigar storage. The cabinet is in beautiful condition. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 9 1/2″(24.1cm) wide by 9 1/2″ (24.1cm) high by 7(17.8cm) deep. Would make a wonderful gift.
