Antique 19th Century Victorian Period. Tiger Oak & Brass Mount. A wonderful desk top cigar smokers cabinet constructed in the manner of a safe in beautifully grained Tiger Oak with ebony string highlights and English Royal crests to doors. Brass mounts and handles, the brass lock cover slides open to reveal a fully operational lock with key. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of three draws one large below two small cigar storage, additional jar compartment to right. The right inner door with vesta compartment. The cabinet is in beautiful condition. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 9 3/4″(24.8cm) wide by 9 1/4″ (23.5cm) high by 7 1/16(18cm) deep. Dont miss out on this superb piece of history to use or as a wonderful collectors item. Absolutely gorgeous early 1900s solid wood smoke stand with copper lined cigar tobacco humidor chest cabinet end table. Im unsure of maker or year, but believe its from the early 1900s. All screws are flat head. Front door has a beautiful design with a simple round pull handle. Great condition & structurally solid. Door opens/closes as it should. Wood shows only light scratches/scuffs. Couple finish wear spots to top (last photo) but hardly notable. I like to point out any & all flaws I find if possible. Copper lining is intact. Im unsure of type of wood. Measures 12 wide by 10 deep & 261/2 tall to top of handle or 22 tall to top of table top. There is a good chance we can settle any issues you may have. Brass mounts and handles, the brass shield cartouce to top is not engraved so could be personalized to make a wonderful gift. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of two draws for cigar storage. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 10 1/2″(26.6cm) wide by 7 1/2″ (19cm) high by 7 1/2(19cm) deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition, the lock is intact however alas no key.
