Antique Victorian Walnut Table Top Cigar Box / Humidor Box with Lock & Key. And stylish antique Victorian walnut table top cigar box, which has lovely decorative detailing. Top has a lovely shaped edge and is finished to the top with lovely. Below this is a pair of doors centred which again have been adorned by. Fretted detailing and lovely shaped and decorative escutcheons. The doors are complete with a working lock and key. Y pretty turned columns. The doors open to reveal seven shelf which can be. Out and are section up. The base has a lovely carved edge to the front and sides and is raised on a bun feet. This would make a beautiful gift to any connoisseur of fine cigars or equally. It has a wealth of other storage uses. The approximate dimensions are: – 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) wide. 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm) deep. 10 inches (25.5 cm) high. As can be seen from the above dimensions this coffer is of lovely petite proportions. The cabinet is circa 1900. A Victorian Walnut Humidor. This box veneered in. That has a been embellished with a ebony corners. There is a pair of doors on the front. One of which has a bramah lock which is always a sign of quality. The doors open to reveal a pair of drawers. Both with a recessed handle. Each drawer is cedar lined with a partition for your cigars. T his box is in good condition with a lovely finish. 29.5cm x 26cm x 23cm. The box does come with a working key. Refinished & Restored Walnut Antique Cigar Humidor Full Milk Glass Lining

Beautifully refinished solid walnut cigar humidor. Measures 12″ long x 8″ deep x 4 1/4 tall. Inside is 11″ long x 7″ deep x 3 1/2 tall. Sides are 1/2 thick and assembled using the splined miter joint. 90º hinges in good working order. Exterior refinished with MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. The entire inside is lined with milk glass. All joints are solid. Antique, English Burr Walnut and Brass Cigar Cabinet / Humidor c. 1880

About as fine as they get, this large Burr Walnut cigar cabinet is a magnificent quality box beautifully made. Each corner has a carved column with a polished brass base and brass mounts around the columns, all beautifully hand engraved. All of the drawer pulls are again hand-engraved. This cabinet would have come from a very fine house, this type of box was used for entertaining, the top two drawers easily accessed by releasing the top (unlocked) shorter bar. These two drawers would have been placed on the table, you can see that they are finished in burr walnut on all sides, used to serve; the underside reveals Satinwood used to finish. The bottom (locked) drawers are accessed with the working key releasing the long bar which then allows the drawers to be accessed. Various cigars would be stored in these drawers and a variety placed in the top two drawers ready for table service by the Butler. The interior of the drawers is lined in Cedar wood which is what kept cigars fresh; this is not officially a Humidor as these are modern inventions to regulate the humidity within; it is the Cedar lining that did this job well over 100 years ago. Each of the drawers has an adjustable / removable divider to customise the interior’s configuration. The drawers will accommodate a maximum cigar length of 6 1/4. Truly the finest in excellent condition, minor wear commensurate with age. Dating to the late Victorian period. The footprint measures 17 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ x 15 tall. Gorgeous, well hand crafted wooden walnut and brass table top cigar display box in excellent condition. There is a brass emblem for engraving, but there is no monogram. There are no deep scratches or discoloration of any kind, despite the piece being easily well over 100 years old. The inside is lined with stainless steel. The hinges are internal, allowing the lid to fit perfectly flush with the rim of the box. There is a lock but I do not have a key. May be used for any number of purposes.
