First, please disregard that fuzzy black mark that appears in the pictures. It is NOT on the item but in my camera. Here is a great rare delft blue tobacco/cigar humidor that was made by Zenith-Gouda, Holland back in 1979 – just about 40 years ago. What a beautiful, classic piece this is. 67 out of 100 that was produced as a limited edition for the Tinder Box. The Tinder Box is a upscale store that caters to tobacco/cigars/cigarettes enthusiasts. For over 90 years. This rare humidor is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The lid is brass and also in good condition abiet it could do with a better polish than my old arthritic hands can give it. There is a foam square inside the lid that can be replaced. This foam is what keeps the absorbs the moisture and keeps tobacco products fresh. Thre is also a foam band around the top of the jar that keeps the lid tight for the same purpose. 8″ tall to the top of the final of the brass lid, and is about 6 1/2″ in diameter at the widest. What is great is that the original lid is still with it. Over the years these pieces can get separated. It is well marked on the bottom. Zenith-Gouda has been producing quality Delftware since 1749.
