Antique 19th Century Victorian Period. Tiger Oak & Brass Mount. A wonderful desk top cigar smokers cabinet constructed in the manner of a safe in beautifully grained Tiger Oak with ebony string highlights and English Royal crests to doors. Brass mounts and handles, the brass lock cover slides open to reveal a fully operational lock with key. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of three draws one large below two small cigar storage, additional jar compartment to right. The right inner door with vesta compartment. The cabinet is in beautiful condition. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 9 3/4″(24.8cm) wide by 9 1/4″ (23.5cm) high by 7 1/16(18cm) deep. Dont miss out on this superb piece of history to use or as a wonderful collectors item. Absolutely gorgeous early 1900s solid wood smoke stand with copper lined cigar tobacco humidor chest cabinet end table. Im unsure of maker or year, but believe its from the early 1900s. All screws are flat head. Front door has a beautiful design with a simple round pull handle. Great condition & structurally solid. Door opens/closes as it should. Wood shows only light scratches/scuffs. Couple finish wear spots to top (last photo) but hardly notable. I like to point out any & all flaws I find if possible. Copper lining is intact. Im unsure of type of wood. Measures 12 wide by 10 deep & 261/2 tall to top of handle or 22 tall to top of table top. There is a good chance we can settle any issues you may have. CARVED WOODEN TOBACCO BOX / HUMIDOR. About 9 3/4″ x 6″ x 5 1/2. Mahogany wooden humidor, carved on all four sides and the top. Oval cameo of tobacco smoking pipes on the lid. Carved in the form of an iron-bound chest, with intricately textured sides, and iron bands, complete with attaching wooden screws. Inside lined with silvery gray paper. Still retains the old tobacco odor. Best guess for age is last quarter 19th century. Some surface wear, especially around the corners and edges (all visible in the images). Rich, dark age patina. Very Attractive Antique Rogers & Bro. Silver Plate Figural Dog Humidor. The box features a dog, possibly a pug, with glass eyes and a raised paw. It stands on spherical feet and has elaborate relief filigree with mythical faces along all sides. It has two compartments. One is hinged with a knob finial for cigar storage and the other, below the dog, is for storage of a damp sponge to keep tobacco moist. There is a vented wall between the two compartments and threaded fasteners securing the section of lid with the dog on it to the box. The bottom is marked Rogers & Bro.
