Antique Edwardian Vintage Tiger Oak wood Cigar Humidor Smokers Cabinet Box Safe

Tiger Oak & Brass Mount. A wonderful desk top cigar smokers cabinet constructed in beautifully grained Tiger Oak with intricate carved oak leaves and oak apples to doors. Brass mounts and handles, the brass shield cartouce to top is not engraved so could be personalized to make a wonderful gift. The twin doors open to reveal a fully fitted interior again with brass mount handles consisting of two draws for cigar storage. Tiger oak is more expensive than normal oak as it is taken from better wood and cut at such an angle to produce the tiger stripe effect therefor being used on the finest quality furniture. Dimensions: 10 1/2″(26.6cm) wide by 7 1/2″ (19cm) high by 7 1/2(19cm) deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition, the lock is intact however alas no key. CARVED WOODEN TOBACCO BOX / HUMIDOR. About 9 3/4″ x 6″ x 5 1/2. Mahogany wooden humidor, carved on all four sides and the top. Oval cameo of tobacco smoking pipes on the lid. Carved in the form of an iron-bound chest, with intricately textured sides, and iron bands, complete with attaching wooden screws. Inside lined with silvery gray paper. Still retains the old tobacco odor. Best guess for age is last quarter 19th century. Some surface wear, especially around the corners and edges (all visible in the images). Rich, dark age patina. Very Attractive Antique Rogers & Bro. Silver Plate Figural Dog Humidor. The box features a dog, possibly a pug, with glass eyes and a raised paw. It stands on spherical feet and has elaborate relief filigree with mythical faces along all sides. It has two compartments. One is hinged with a knob finial for cigar storage and the other, below the dog, is for storage of a damp sponge to keep tobacco moist. There is a vented wall between the two compartments and threaded fasteners securing the section of lid with the dog on it to the box. The bottom is marked Rogers & Bro. This is a nice antique Cigar Humidor box (see photos). The item looks to be make of Mahogany wood and it has nice mounts that look to be silver plated to me (see photos). The item is antique (see photos). The item has a lock on it and it is open, but I do not have a key (see photos). The item has a mount on each upper and lower corner with the word Cigars written in metal cursive script on the top of the box (see photos). The item would make a welcome addition to your collection (see photos). The item is in as found condition. The item in total measures about 5 inches high, about 7 inches from the front edge to the back side at the top and 10 and 3/4ths inches wide from side to side. The metal word cigars has a break in the lettering and it looks as if there should be more metal around the top of the key ole etscheon that is missing?
