Antique Black Forest Carved German Hunt Humidor Antler Rosette Cigar Box c. Antique German Black Forest Wooden Carved ANTLER HUMIDOR BOX Stag Rosette c1880. It is German, hand carved from wood to look like tree bark, and decorated with roebuck stag antlers and 4 antler rosettes, two carved in relief showing a deer and a stag. Inside show three divided compartment, one with a lid. An early cigar humidor or tobacco box that comes with its original key. Dating to circa 1880. The box measures approx. 15″ x 7.5″ x 5 plus the external antler decorations. Good used condition showing great patina. The box has some damage to some of the antler tips, also has some older repairs to the feet. Inspect all photos to complete condition detail. Collection is welcome from Brixworth, Northamptonshire.
