1928 RARE Rockwell Kent Sally Art Deco Cigar Box. The outside of the box is brass and the inside is lined with wood. The image on the front is attributed ti Rockwell Kent, a famous artist, print maker and writer, 1882 1971. The image depicts Sally (Sally Kent Gorton) his wife and widow. The image was designed in 1928 for an A. Spalding & Brothers magazine advertisement. Epicts Sally (Sally Kent Gorton) his wife and widow. There are very few of this particular box available. Rockwell Kent had the image etched in the lids of some brass boxes and gave them out as gifts to friends and business associates. This particular box has been well cared for. The inside of the is clean and in very good condition. The brass on the outside has developed a nice patina and has other signs of normal age. The lid is also still very well attached with a good working hinge. It is about 2 5/8 inches by 5.5 inches by 7 1/8 inches. The box is marked A. This case is in Good condition for its age. The case has white porcelain tiles. There are a couple of cracked tiles and a couple broken on the bottom (please see pictures). This is consistent with the age and use of the case. The case has a metal bracket. The door open and closes as it should. On the inside of the case there is a label that reads – Porcelain Cigar Case, Pat. Applied For, Made by Wilke Mfg. The case measures approx. 25 Tall by 18 Wide by 19 1/2 Deep. I took a lot of pictures to show you what you are receiving. Please look at the pictures as to the condition of the item. Up for sale is a rare antique ornate gilt brass figural humidor cigar store oil lighter display. It’s cast out of thick gilded brass with very elaborate detailing, is a heavy piece, and in the form of a cart. The humidor has a removable lid with an ashtray attached and nude fairy appliqués on each side done in high relief. It has ornate axeled wheels wheels that actually turn and an intricate oil lamp mounted two the back to light cigars. Rare Antique Russian Ptd COSSACKS Tobacco Humidor Box Vishnyakov Imperial Era. Offering a very handsome Antique Russian Painted Humidor/Tobacco Box. Signed inside by celebrated VISHNYAKOV– awarded numerous gold Imperial medals. Retains original interior tin foil paper. Well loved– inside retains the lingering aroma of tobacco. Lid– hand painted– portraying Russian woman peasant and two Cossacks. One playing the accordion and one dancing– kicking up his heels. Rare to see Cossack dancing on Russian boxes– usually painted are Troika sleds. Wear commensurate with age and use. Thumping, bumps and wear on corners– see images. Crazing on painted lid, but painting itself is in very good condition. Hinges are strong and stable. Approx– 5 3/8″ by 3 3/8″ by 3 1/4 h. Hard to find early signed Box. A good looking master craftsman carved cigar box complete with the original key and very angry dog protecting the contents. The box comes complete with the original lock and key which work just fine. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age related patina marks all over. Height:- 19.5cm. Depth:- 23.5cm. Rare antique signed Dunhill hand painted porcelain wood tobacco jar humidor box

Up for sale is a very rare antique signed Dunhill porcelain and wooden tobacco humidor/jar. It’s made in a square box style format with 4 hand painted inlaid panels. The porcelain panels are done with a realistic approach and rich color depicting intricate bird scenes. It has a carved wooden spring loaded lid that turns to lock tightly into place when not being opened. When the lid is removed it exposes the metal lining that has some slight paint loss. It’s signed on the bottom by Dunhill and measures 7 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches long. In very nice used condition. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable. Most items are antique or vintage and could have usual ware from age. RARE Antique HC Black Forest Cigar Chest, Box, with Hound, Dog, 4 Server Trays

RARE Antique HC Black Forest Cigar Chest, Box, with Hound, Dog, 4 Server Trays, 32 Cigars. All items and photos are the express property of Antiques & Uncommon Treasure. A rare and spectacular find, the carved Black Forest dogs are about the rarest subject to find, and we all love them. This little guy sits atop a beautifully crafted and very well preserved cigar chest (not a humidor, no moisture apparatus, remember) or serving box. Each of the 4 slide-out trays remain in excellent and undamaged state, and it holds a total of 32 cigars, up to 4.5 in length. Old as it is, and size, it was likely a cheroot cabinet. The hinged top lifts up and folds back to reveal the serving trays. All measurements are noted on the photos, but it’s 9.5″ tallest, 9.5″ widest (at feet). No chips, no breaks, no hairlines or shrinkage or warping. It has a working lock, but at listing time I do not have a key to work it or attend it. We do have a stash of 19gh century keys for these old casket locks, but so far we haven’t got one fitted to this. We’ll continue to search one out, but as it stands now, it comes without key. If we find one, we’ll annotate the listing and price. Very good to excellent condition throughout. I find no chips or loss to the carvings, though it’s likely perhaps a tiny nip on end of leaf or a little rough spot is there somewhere. I do notice on our photos that the light seems to make it look like one eye is missing a little glass bead. In fact, neither has or had glass beads, and it’s just angle of light. The pupils are carved as recesses, so one could certainly set a small black glass bead in each should you wish to have him have glass eyes. It was not originally thus, and it is not a flaw you’re seeing on the photos – just a glare. Full measurements are noted on the photos. Not sure the breed of that darling dog, but he’s without damage. Again, dogs are rare! We’ve fully cleaned the box. There are no odors at all. We’re easy to deal with. You are very important!
