Antique Victorian Silver Plate Humidor Cigar box Cherub Putti Figural Rogers Smith Meriden. A VERY NICE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE FIGURAL BOX WITH 4 HINGED COMPARTMENTS. Measures approximately 9-1/2″ tall x 11.5″ long x 8″ deep with the compartments being about 3″ inches deep. Victorian Era Cigar Box. “Rogers Smith Meriden CT Quadruple 2X USA”. This lovely box has at the top, two cherubs holding hands while facing away from each other. Doves and garland decorate the sides of the box. There are 4 hinged lids, the 2 large sides have a lock (no key). This is a heavy piece, it measures 11.5? Wide x 9″ tall with the compartments about 3″ inches deep. This is a beautiful piece. Please consider the photos as part of the description. One of the round feet has no tarnish and looks like a well done repair. Some others of these have the cherubs holding a candlestick holder, but I see no evidence that anything like that was ever attached to this one. Otherwise, this humidor is in very good condition and rests well on all four feet as it should. The compartment lids are attached perfectly and close as they should. The screens between the sponge and cigar compartments are present and secure. The locks are present but I have no key.
