Extremely rare victorian (no art nouveau) mecanical smokers Box – (Cigar case – box opens by lifting the lever) in form of a Locomotive by WMF – Geislingen Germany – about 1890 in nutwood and plated Brass – signed WMF M (for Messing – brass) on the lid of the. Ashtray Chimney can server as match holder. (bowls can be taken off). X 9,4″ wide x 5.4″ deep. Box mesures 4.8″ long x 3.2″ wide x 2 high. In for its age very. Good conditon with traces of use and wear, like partially loss of plating – the right rear bumper seems to be replaced otherwise please view pictures as they are part of the description. Unique Humidor solid wood construction -luxury cigar box elie bleu davidoff size

Dimensions: 25 x 18 x 51 centimeters (10 x 7 x 20 inches). This humidor is one of a kind, also in terms of construction, design and quality. It was made in California, USA by an experienced cabinetmaker with 30 years of experience in humidor building, it took over six months to build this humidor. It has never been used. The humidor features solid spanish cedar lining with solid mahogany walls, lid and bottom(most high end humidors feature much cheaper MDF construction, even in the lining with thin spanish cedar veneer). The veneer is high quality figured maple and the edge bindings are made of macassar ebony which is a very hard wood and in addition to being decorative, it protects the edges from dents. The underside of the lid features figured spanish cedar as a background for the hygrometer and humidifiers. Figured spanish cedar is very rare and expensive wood. Features a removable tray for a single row of cigars. The escutcheon for the sturdy german made piano lock is CNC machined from stainless steel, mirror polished and gold plated. The lid features USA made bead humidifiers by heartfelt company.
