Refinished & Restored Antique Cigar Humidor With Humidity PadMilk Glass Liner

Beautifully refinished solid mahogany cigar humidor. Measures 11″ long x 7 1/2″ deep x 4 1/8 tall. Inside is 9 5/8″ long x 6 1/8″ deep x 2 3/4 tall. Sides are 7/16 thick and assembled using the half blind lap joint. Piano hinge in good working order. Exterior refinished with MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Inside bottom and lid are lined with milk glass. Also includes humidity pad. Sides are lined with unfinished mahogany. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Please contact before purchasing. Originally a writing slope, it has been re-purposed as cigar humidor and ceder wood lining has been added later to the interior. Original lock and key. There are two filters in the lid to regulate humidity, these will likely need new filters to function. Good large size and a good conversion. Monogram to the inlaid mother of pearl. Antique SOLID Cherry Wood 1885 Humidor Box Folk Art Decoration Fraktur Cut Outs

This estate fresh, un-restored solid cherry wood humidor from the 1880’s measures 9″ x 14″ x 8 1/2 overall and retains original surface on the outside and original zinc interior. One end has a tinsmith made zinc drawer for a damp sponge and all of the exterior is decorated with delicately cut-out and colored pictorial paper decorations of birds, trees, castle, horsemen and flowers. It retains original brass hinges and ceramic knob and is sturdy (dirty) and usable with some gentle cleaning. The wood bottom is a bit soft from years of dripping moisture from the “sponge drawer” and there is significant wear and loss to the applied paper decoration on the lid. Rare quality antique 1800s Victorian handmade floral wood box sculpture folk art

Up for sale is a rare antique 19th century handmade V ictorian Folk Art wooden box. The box is made of a wooden base and finished with a lovely polychromed brown finish. It’s embellished with hand sculpted detailing throughout done with a very dimensional approach and features berries and flowers. It has a skeleton key locking mechanism but does not have a key. The box is in nice antique condition and measures 17 inches long by 9 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall. It is missing some sculpted pieces and has some cracking and chips as shown in all photos.
