A vintage brass humidor box. In overall fair to good condition. Does have some tarnishing overall and a few bent corners of the lid. The lid also sits slightly off on the box. No apparent makers mark. Measures about 6 by 5″ and is about 4″ tall. Has a copper plate on the lid for engraving. Expect minor evidence of use or imperfections, dings etc. We take many photos of our items to assist with the description. Please use the photos to help judge content and condition. Rare Rockwell Kent’Sally’ Art Deco Cigar Box. 1928 rare Rockwell Kent’Sally’ Art Deco cigar Box. The image on the lid of the box is attributed to Rockwell Kent, a famous early 20th c. The image depicts Sally Kent Gorton his wife and widow. The image was designed in 1928 for an A. Spalding & Brothers (men’s only store – 520 Fifth Avenue, NY) magazine advertisement. There are very few of this particular box available. Rockwell Kent had the image etched in the lids of some brass boxes, made by Chase Brass and Copper Company and gave them out as gifts to friends and business associates. This particular box has been well cared for. The inside of the is clean and in very good condition and I guess re-felted. The brass on the outside has developed a nice patina and has other signs of normal age. The box is marked A. Spalding & Bros on the front rim and EPCO on the back rim E. Is The East Prospect Cigar Company, Pennsylvania. Approximate dimensions: 18cm wide x 14cm deep x6.5 cm high. Collection/couriers always welcome from PE14 9PF, however we do not arrange the courier service but can recommend someone. Quality antique 1800's handmade wood brass Eastlake cigar humidor holder box

Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century handmade Eastlake style wooden cigar humidor box. It’s beautifully dovetailed together on all sides and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It has an exquisite Eastlake handle mounted to the front made of an ornate gilded brass with attached wooden spherical ends. The handle pivots up and down on a ball joint exposing the hidden key lock underneath. It opens on a hinge and is lined with solid stone under the lid along with all sides of the. They were added to keep tobacco products fresh. The box measures 11 1/2 inches long by 9 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches tall. It is missing the key, and has cracking to the stone on the bottom half. Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century wooden cigar box. It’s made by hand out of a varnished oak wood and has thick brass appliqués on each corner and edge. The lid opens on hinges exposing the lovely reticulated metal interior and has a mechanism on the side that stops the lid from opening over 90 degrees. It also has a very detailed solid brass pivoting carry handle mounted to the top of the lid. It’s in very nice condition, has acquired a great patina from age and measures 12 inches long by 7 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall. It is missing the key for the locking.
