This box has nice simple art deco style and is marked with German hallmarks on the base, the makers mark is unreadable. Condition: Some abrasions on the surface. Some areas of tarnishing. Height 1 7/8 Inches 4.7 cm. Width 6 1/4 Inches 16.0 cm. Depth 3 1/2 Inches 8.9 cm. This is a large used burl and mahogany humidor. It features three levels of storage and brass fittings. The dimensions are 11x11x16. The condition is good used. There is minor damage to the lid as pictured and signs of use but overall in great condition. The weight is just under 20 lbs.

Art Deco Novelty Cigar Box. From our boxes collection, we are delighted to offer this novelty cigar humidor from the Art Deco period. The box of oblong shape with a ribbed exterior crafted from Birchwood Bark with a fantastic Novelty lid housing eight Cabinet extra fine cigars. When opened the humidor reveals a maple lining perfect for storing your cigars. The box dates to the late Art Deco period circa 1935. Birch grows in parts of Northern Europe, Asia and North America. It is an almost white wood that with age will appear more yellow, with a very subtle grain giving a clean look to the wood.
